Affiliate Weaponry
Issue #4 Vol.1
Today I am going to cover something that is very important to me as both an affiliate and a direct sales marketer. Today I have a special article I have written entitled "Driving it Home".
Now I realize that I don't have the "clout" or the "hype" of so many other heavy hitting affiliate marketers out there, such as Derek Gehl, Jim Edwards, Ewen Chia, Andrew Fox, Gary Ambrose, Mike Filsaime, Janet Legere,Yanik Silver, Anik Singal, and many others. To those I did not include, I apologize, you deserve to be here.
I DEFINITELY don't have the wealth building and profit pulling power of the one and only multi-thousand dollar phone-call inducing Dan S. Kennedy.
There is something that I do have. I have the desire to succeed in My life and not let what life has thrown my way dissuade me from what it is that I want to achieve. So with that said, and that being, in My mind, the single most important aspect of a successful foundation, being that you have a heart, a desire, a flame inside that says;"No! I will NOT GO OUT that way!"
Without further adieu onto the article.
Now, when I think of those people up there I think of the greats. And they are. Without doubt, they are among the very few in the literal SEA of people that see the power the internet offers to communicate with people. The literal power that it contains for advertising, marketing and other business oriented endeavors. The automation, the ability to reach tens of thousands, if not tens of MILLIONS of folks in minutes...Awake or asleep does not make one iota of difference.
But there is something that alot of them miss and thanks to Dan S. Kennedy, and his Greatest Gift Offer Ever, which, sadly, for a lack of 20 bones I had to miss, I figured something out in that sales copy.
It was probably something that I already understood, but nonetheless, it got My brain churning.
THANKS DAN!!
Okay, well, now that that little pat on the back is out of the way, heheh, on to the meat.
What I am talking about, as I am sure that you are wondering is not just that the inter-net is an awesome business tool, in that you can reach thousands of prospective clients, some of which are fresh on the net, fresh into the idea working for themselves, fresh into adult hood etc. that some of the top names have never heard of, that you can possibly sell too, the issue is not that you can reach these people. It is how.
What do you mean by that?
Use the inter net you say. Use the phone, Use T.V.
Well, that is all fine and good, but if you don't have what it takes to use those tools, as that is all they are, then you are wasting your %&$*(^ time.
What I am talking about is helping you avoid that. See, though the
inter-net is a TOOL for business, and it's an excellent MEDIA for
getting your word out there and your product, if you don't know how
to speak, it may as well just be chicken scratch in the dirt of a coupe
or some ones hand print in fresh cement.
I mean, really, who is gonna give a flying rats you know what about
what your saying if you don't know how to present it?? Honestly, they
will glance it over and move
on. A marketer can't just get connected to the inter net and join a few
affiliate programs and then throw some
pre-scripted crap out there and expect to get sales beyond a few that
may or more likely NOT get them any sort of residual income.
A
marketer has to have a drive, carry with them presence in their sales
copy.
A marketer is going to have to sit down and do the research, and find
out what, about what business, what sales copy, what classified ad and what solo ad made the sale.
A marketer is also going to not only know what about the ad made it appealing, but instead of swiping it, he is gonna have to know HOW to place his OWN words into that same ad, and WHY those words are going to appeal to his/her customer.
A marketer has to know how to dig into his audience and pull forth the interest, to catch them, within that first oh so crucial
few seconds and force them to WANT to read more. He is going to have to
draw them in, with that first headline. As well as the subsequent lines that follow closely to it, the sub-header, if you will.
A marketer is going to have to maintain that interest by appealing to the wants of the customer, so more research is going to have to be done to find out why the ads
that he/she looks at are most appealing to his desires in that sort of
product. Then tailor that to his OWN product, or the product which he represents as an affiliate.
Now I might make this sound somewhat like it should be easy. It's
not. I know that I can do it. Sometimes. Hehheh! I know that I can do
it most of the time. But that is just lip-service if you have never
seen me sell. You don't have to believe me if you don't want to. But
what I am getting at, is that if you don't drive it home, if you don't catch their attention
and you don't appeal to their greed, or their want, a need, a drive, to
ANYTHING.
You will continue to not make anything. Now, I run a web site
that is
dedicated to NOT fluffing it up. I don't want a web site that
is all hyped up and fancy and for that reason, My site is mostly hand
built, with a few custom pieces thrown on it here and there that are
mainly for those affiliate products that I sell. The reason for this is
that MY web site promotes "Zero-Hype Marketing". That is to say that
when it comes to marketing it is from the heart. It is speaking from a
place that will appeal to a realist and will appeal to someone that is
tired of the flash.
I am striving to build something that will turn failures into success, whilst taking a fresh approach to systems with proven results. The systems I use are not My own, but the methodology is all me.
You can check that out here http://tigersdenmarketing.bravehost.com
Now while this web site is not yet done, it DOES promise a lot. And I intend to deliver it. Bare with me, I am a one man operation and I work on it everyday.
I don't live this as if the inter-net is a business. The
inter-net is a world, which I have to communicate and make my living in.
The inter-net is a tool, one that I fully intend to make my fortune with. While helping others to make theirs.
It is a place that is full of hype and b.s. and other methodologies I refuse to have anything to do with.
But it's also a place where I believe that someone can run a business on little to zero overhead and I am out
to prove it. Hence, zero hype.
So, with zero-hype, how do you drive your customer to buy? how do you get them excited?
Well, to answer that, just go take a look at http://tigersdenalternative.bravehost.com
You tell me how I attract attention. You tell me how I appeal to the masses and work up some excitement.
You go ahead and tell me how I am driving my message home. See, I just live by one simple philosophy.
What goes out, inevitably comes back. I am putting forth an honest effort, and find it reasonable to expect
an honest return. I just plain and simply Drive it Home. How you do that, is up to you.
For ME, however, it's all with as little hype as possible.
Till next time,
