                                                Passive residuals; Cash-Cow, or Pie-in-the-Sky?

Huge amounts of income from your inter-net cash-cow... Home PC. Mac. Apple. 486. Is this a dream, all wide eyed and pie in the sky? Or is this actual reality for thousands of people? That seems to be the age old question, however, I am going to be brutally honest with you.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a reality. I know that people think it can't be done, that everyone on the inter-net is a bunch of scam artists and they only make money because of the idiots in the world.

Well, they would be partially right. There are an awful lot of idiots in the world. Hell, you might be one of them! If you are, then you are one of those people that believes everyone on the net is scamming someone else.

For this, is absolutely NOT the case. There are tons of services on the net, reputable businesses, and information product developers that not only care about their clientele but they also deliver and over deliver on regular, and not so regular, hot, relevant and intelligent content. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the key to the whole kit and caboodle. Content. Relevant content. Fresh content. Intelligent content. Not just slick copy-writing, or ad-copy. But that is part of the puzzle. No, but even their ad copy has excellent content imbedded.

And it's keyword optimized, to effect the most amount of traffic that it can possibly effect through the search engines. Meaning, that every 5-7 words, they have one of their targeted keywords worked into the sentence structure. This also shows the search engines that the topic most talked about on this site, meaning the most content structure, is on a certain topic. That topic is how they target their niche (topic seekers). Or their market, depending on how you want to word that. Either way works, though there are some fundamental differences between the two.

Now I mentioned slick ad-copy being part of the puzzle. Well, yes, it is, and it is on a light, and a dark level. If it weren't for slick ad-copy, those that get scammed, wouldn't be getting scammed, now would they? No, of course not. Someone would look at their ad-copy and go... ummm... Nooooo. Heheh! But, when combined with slick ad-copy, the worse product in the world, will sell, and like hot-cakes. The competition between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates is a prime example of such marketing tom-foolery. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates started out at the same time, with the same ideas. Bill Gates established that he was better marketer, first off, when his business exploded and Apple Computer lagged behind. But it wasn't that Apple lagged because of an inferior product. He simply didn't have the marketing mind of Bill Gates. They also, incidentally, really came from dayum near NOTHING! Chew on that for a minute.

Apple. Excellent product, crappy ad-copy... The man couldn't get a sense of his total market till way later.

Microsoft. Sorry to say, crappy company... Masterful marketing. The man had a sense of his market. And early, which nearly destroyed his competition. Along with the alleged bootlegging of software, but this article isn't going to go into that. That is all changing. Steve Jobs and Apple computers has caught up, and the reason behind it can be attributed to one thing.

Excellent, overdelivered and properly priced products, carrying with them the reviews of word of mouth and the general public, anyone that has ever been exposed to his machines. Now I am not saying this, because I am an apple fan... I run on windows...heheh.. But I am saying this, because it's a fact. In the beginning, Steve Jobs might not have been able to market out of a wet paper bag, but he struggled with an excellent product that over delivers, filled it with great and intelligent content and left it to the people to eventually decide and over time, he began to really gain an intuitive understanding of what the market wanted AND how to talk to them, hence catching up.

Bill Gates has a virus attacked platform, hasn't done anything new with windows in years, dare I say decades and still spits the same ole, same ole.

But people buy it, and more and more, and why?

Masterful ad-copy. Not due to product quality. The lesson here is folks, that if you want to succeed, you need to understand your field, whom your speaking with and get into their desires and their needs. Only then, can you really provide them the content they desire. This doesn't mean you have to know psychology inside and out. It means, that when you are talking about a product, or service, imagine whom it is that is out there that would need, desire or want this product or service, and what it is that the product or service can DO FOR THEM and stress those points, that deal with the product and what it can do for them.

It's the age old WIIFM syndrome, or What's In It For Me? Remember, throughout your content, sprinkle generously with keywords that relate to your topic and let the spiders know what keywords are there by filling your meta-tags. Remember. Intelligent content.

'Speak to the reader, and you will make money once. Speak to the search engines, with relevant unique and intelligent content and no doubt, you will make money for a lifetime. Passively. Residually. It's not just a pie in the sky dream. It can be your reality, if you take this to heart and do further research to be sure that you can do just that. Get to know your target market, and become the friendly merchant, that has what they need, when they need it, and repeatedly. Don't market for the sake of money, but for the satisfaction and freedom that you can achieve from it. The money, will obviously, fall in line.

Reminds me of that old saying. Give a man a fish, and you have fed him once. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. Consider this fishing instruction. You must learn how to Cast, Lure, Hook, Reel, Extract and Capture the fish, before you can truly say that you caught one. Once you catch one, if you repeat the same thing, no matter what fishing hole(market), you can catch another. The successful KNOW that this isnt guess work. It's SCIENCE. It's PSYCHOLOGY. BUT... It's NOT rocket science, bubba. No sirree!! This is simple things, done simply, NOT easily, but done simply, to evoke emotional response and justification for action. These are things that you can do too, once you become aware of them fully. So you tell me. Passive residuals... Cash Cow? Or simply Pie in the Sky pipe dreams?

You now have the truth. You decide. ***************************************************************************
